1. Who we are
Block Knight is a free puzzle game made by Pixel Fresh Studio (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the data described here. This policy explains in plain words what the game collects, why, and what you can do about it.
2. What we collect
You don't need an account to play. When you first play, the game creates an anonymous player ID (a random Firebase ID) and a player name like “Knight 4821”. With them we collect: how you play (levels, fights, scores, coins and items, streaks, settings and time on each screen); device and app details (device model, Android version, app version, country, language and an install ID); which rewarded videos are offered and watched, and your ad consent choice; crash reports; and a notification token so we can send you game service messages. If you choose to sign in with Google (“Sign up with Google” on your Profile), your player ID is linked to your Google account, and we store that account's email address, name and profile picture link with your player record. We use them to identify your account, restore it on another phone and confirm deletion requests. Your Profile shows the email you signed in with. While you are signed in, we also keep a backup of your progress (coins, levels, heroes, items, settings and the rest of your game). Signing in is optional: the game works fully without it.
3. What we don't collect
We never ask for your phone number or contacts. We don't use GPS or any precise location: your country comes from your SIM card, network or language settings. Our own game statistics never include your advertising ID, your email address or anything you type. If you sign in with Google, your email address, name and profile picture link are kept only with your player record, never in game statistics.
4. Why we use it
To run the game, balance levels, find and fix crashes, and improve the game and understand our players as it grows. Collection is always on, because it is how we keep the game working well. If you sign in with Google, we use that account's email address, name and profile picture link only to identify your account, restore it on another phone and confirm deletion requests, including when you contact us. We never sell your data, and we never use your email, your name or our game statistics for ads or marketing.
5. Ads
Block Knight shows rewarded videos only: no banners and no ads between levels. A video plays only when you choose to watch one for a reward. The videos come from Google AdMob. Where privacy laws require it (for example in the EEA and the UK), Google's consent form asks for your ad choices first, and you can change them at any time in Settings under “Privacy & ad choices”. AdMob may use your advertising ID and other device information to show and measure ads, as Google explains at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
6. Google services we use
We use services from Google to run the game: Firebase (Authentication for your anonymous ID and the optional Google sign-in; Cloud Firestore, which also keeps the progress backup of players who sign in with Google; Analytics; Crashlytics; Cloud Messaging; and Remote Config), AdMob with its consent tool, and Google Play, which distributes the game. Google processes this data for us under its own terms and may process it outside your country. Google's privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Firebase privacy: firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
7. How long we keep it
Your progress, coins and settings stay on your phone. If you sign in with Google, the game also saves a backup copy of them on our servers when you leave the game (at most once every 5 minutes) and once a day, and we keep it until your account is deleted. Game statistics wait on your phone until they reach our servers, then the game deletes its copy. We keep the data we collect until you ask us to delete it. Google keeps its own copies under its own retention settings: Google Analytics keeps detailed event data for 2 months, and Crashlytics keeps crash reports for 90 days. Uninstalling the game removes everything it stored on your phone.
8. Your choices and deleting your data
Watching a rewarded video is always your choice. Where privacy laws give you ad choices, you can change them at any time in Settings under “Privacy & ad choices”. We may send you game notifications, and you can turn them off at any time in your phone's settings. Game statistics can't be switched off in the app; uninstalling the game stops them. If you signed in with Google, Sign out on your Profile backs up your progress first, then the phone starts again as a new guest; sign in again to get your progress back. To delete your account after signing in with Google, tap Delete account in Settings under “Data & reset” or on your Profile, and hold to confirm. Your request is filed and the game signs you out at once. If you change your mind, sign in with the same Google account within 48 hours and the request is cancelled. After that, our team deletes your account and its data within 30 days of your request, and your coins and progress are gone for good. If you never signed in, or no longer have the game, contact us through the developer contact details on Block Knight's Google Play page and ask us to delete your data, quoting the Player ID shown in the game (Profile → PLAYER card) or the email of the Google account you signed in with. We delete your data within 30 days of your request. We delete your player record, game statistics, progress backup, Google sign-in link and anonymous player ID. We keep only a deletion log with no personal data, and Google keeps its own copies as described under “How long we keep it”. If you play again afterwards, the game starts with a new anonymous ID. Our Data deletion page explains each step; guests also find it in the game, in Settings under “Data & reset”.
9. Children
Block Knight is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you think a child has used the game, request deletion as described above and we will delete the data.
10. Security, changes and contact
Data travels encrypted. Only your own player ID can write your game data to our servers, and no other player can read your progress backup. We may update this policy when the game changes; the latest version is always in the game. Questions? Contact us through the developer contact details on our Google Play page.
